Exceptionally clean and incredible hotel with magnificent location in the front garden in the morning. The double room with books, the bedroom plus sofas. Excellent service from the attentive, exceptional staff members. Early check-in, late check-out. Simply no complaints, really enjoyable stay.

Opt for a room on the upper floor to avoid noise from squeaky floorboards and enjoy a more peaceful stay.

Strong sewer smell in the bathroom could be a dealbreaker!!! Room lock inconvenient, limiting practicality for families!!! Bathroom layout awkward, particularly for older guests, suggesting a need for improvement!!!

The main house has a charming, homely vibe with its eclectic decor. The rooms are spacious, modern en-suites are clean, and there's a solid selection of complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits.

The bistro menu lacks variety, leaning heavily towards pub-style fare rather than bistro options. My recent experience with the heating was less than stellar. It was chilly in the room and took a while to warm up. Breakfast served was limited, specifically only continental, which surprised me and made mornings less convenient. There was a notable lack of communication around meal services, particularly dinner options that didn't match the online menu descriptions. I faced an issue with the TV, frustrating, though not critically important compared to the other inconveniences.

Surprisingly Nice Stay!

The staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious too. Loved that the chef helped with my allergies and even made a special menu for me. Just wish the drinks weren't so pricey at the bar.
